The most common errors that the Italians do in English derive from the so-called “False Friends”,that are very similar Italian words to other English that however they have a different meaning. Some are:

To Pretend: that it doesn’t mean “to expect”but to pretend (fare finta);

Annoyed: that it doesn’t mean “bored”but annoyed (infastidito);

Firm: that it doesn’t mean “signature” but firm (azienda).

Others errors that Italians committed in English are:

The use of singular and plural, the difference of the use of the verbs Make and Do, and the use of the adjectives.

an internet phenomenon

A new social phenomenon that is depopulating on internet is Instagram. It is a social network used for the more from teenagers. The social network allow the people to take photo, to apply filters and to share it on numerous other social networks like facebook, twitter,Tumbler etc... 

The app has been created by kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger ,and it has been online for the first time in 2010, available only for the devices IOS while in 2012 also for the devices android.

                                   

    Chili Peppers

Red chili peppers can help you live longer. Researchers in the US found that capsaicin, an ingredient in red chili peppers, may boost the metabolism, strengthen the heart and help with blood pressure and obesity. People who regularly ate chili had a 13 % lower risk of dying early. Researchers said hot red chili pepper was associated with reduced mortality.  

 

Fifth November

The UK uses to celebrate the Gunpowder Plot, happened in the afternoon of November Fifth when a group of Catholics, driven by Guy Fawkes planned to make to jump the center of the Parliament to Palace of Westminster containing King Giacomo the first of England. Guy Fawkes, with some friends take the shot in a room next to the saloon where the Parliament would be gathered to the presence of the King: the explosion would have been able to reduce in rubble many of the buildings of the complex of Westminster and the abbey, but the attempt faults. On January 31 Guy Fawkes and other people implicated were hung. The Fifth November of every year the English celebrate this historical story and the children manufacture a puppet whit old suits, they drag him for the roads picking up money for the artificial fires. The puppet is finally hoisted on top of the wood pile that will serve for the bonfire.

He for she is a solidarity campaign in favor of gender equality, that seeks to engage men and boys in the fight against the discrimination that women and girls face around the world.
The name of this campaign, HeforShe, was presented by Emma Watson. She made a long discourse speaking of the discriminations that occuring against women in every sector, in fact she has become the ambassador UN Women of the campaign HeForShe.

                                               New York city

The photo shows the beautiful city of New York whit his lights and the Statue of Liberty.

It was taken in New York during the sunset. In the foreground there is the Statue of Liberty while in the background there are a lot of skyscrapers lit by colored lights. Among the skyscrapers there is also the Empire state building.

In this photo the sun is setting and the lights are turning.

I think that the atmosphere of the photo is peaceful and relaxing.

I like this photo because in the future I would like go there and take the same photo.
